Life is good!

I have to say life has been hectic but very good lately. I am excited to announce that Hannah is potty trained (its the small things in life that are exciting). I didn't think it was going to happen. I envisioned her in elementary school going to the bathroom to change her own diaper! When she did it though she went full blast, it was in an instant. This was our big hurdle we had to get through in order to go to preschool. The first day she went she immediately packed her Hello Kitty back pack and said, "Mommy, I am ready to go to school." Yeah!

I thought things would slow down after summer but we are gearing up for big changes that are comming fast. Good changes though. It looks like we are going to be moving down to San Francisco. I am so excited about this I can hardly stand it. We should know in about a month. The house will be living in is amazing! So many closets I lost count (this matters when I have been living in a house with none) not to mention 3 stories, with 7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I currently have no bedroom so this will be quite something. Did I mention ocean view? So I will keep my fingers crossed and pray hard that everything falls in line.

So today I am off to make a vegan Birthday Cake for my beloved sister, Tara, who passed away almost 22 years ago. Every year on her Birthday I make a cake and remeber the good times we had. Happy Birthday Tara!! She would be 47 today.

"Big Love"

This was such a fun day. They were filming the show "Big Love"at our house all day. We got to meet Bill Paxton and hang out a few different times and talk with him. He is a super nice man. It was fun watching through the director's camera. We also got to par take in their very awesome catered lunch. It was all very cool. We also met the little red headed girl that plays one of the kids, she was very sweet. I will add the pics tomorrow so you all won't think Iam full of it. Later I will post some funny info on another actress. The girl who played in mama mia. Its kind of funny, but I am too tired to write anymore tonight.

Back from Camping

Me and Hannah just got back from camping. It was an all girls trip. We joined my very good friend Lara and her 9 year old daughter Lily. It was so much fun being together, however I think I am done with camping!! I started wondering why I was putting in so much work to be in the dirt, endure the bugs, and be subjected to bad bathrooms. I love nature but I love a good hotel room too! So I think the next vacation will involve the ocean and a really good hotel. We ended up coming home early so we could hit some outlets for school shopping. It feels good to be home, we have been gone almost all summer on little trips here and there.

So late today I took Hannah to the dentist for the first time. I had noticed that she was having baby tooth decay on her two front teeth. I knew it was not going to be fun. My husband bailed at the last minute as he had to work over time (lucky him). Well, it was to be expected, Hannah screamed her head off and it took three people to hold her while the dentist just looked at her teeth. It was awfull. Then to my horror she has 10 cavities and that is besides the decay. She will have to be put under at the hospital to have all the work done and its going to about $ 3000.00. I am feeling a tad bit stressed tonight. I can't stand the thought of my baby being put under, its rather scary. I am going to try not to worry for now it going to take at least a month to get everything scheduled.

On a better note, tomorrow they are filming an HBO show in front of my house. Its called Big Love. So we should have fun watching it from our lawn. I will try to take pictures. My son was going to be an extra, but he decided it wasn't worth cutting off his hair so he could look like a good Mormon boy (the show is about Mormons).

Summer Days

I didn't know little girls could love clothes so much! Here is Hannah trying on one of her play outfits. She has a definite love of all things princess. She wanted to put dress after dress on. Then she said, "mommy take picture" How could I resist that. She is getting into the age that i love, where their imaginations go wild and they love to pretend. The cute little things she says help get me through the tough moments of the day. Like when were on tantrum 999! This little girl of mine has energy that far surpass mine and everybody I know put together. Just when I feel exhausted and that I might not get through another minute (yet alone until college) she will say or do something so cute that just makes me smile and laugh.

Well, these have to be short posts because my little bee charmer is fast asleep and a whole lot needs to happen during this time. Its all about cramming a days worth of work into 2 hours.
